Criteria and procedures

In French educational institutions abroad, families must pay school fees for their children. In view of the cost of schooling, the public authorities have set up an aid scheme in the form of grants (Articles D531-45 to D531-51 of the Education Code).

Conditions of access

⚠️ The first session of the 2024-2025 scholarship campaign is open : applications are due by Wednesday, February 14, 2024. (updated on January 11, 2024)

The scholarship program is open to children of French nationality, registered in the consular register and enrolled in one of the AEFE’s approved schools.
