They will discover the fascinating world of molecules and atoms. New concepts will be taught through fun chemical reactions. In ecology consciousness, participants will explore ways to minimize their carbon footprint, the differences between renewable and non-renewable energy, and energy transformation mechanisms.
Through demonstrations and interactive activities, students will have the chance to discover how electricity is created and controlled to meet our daily needs. A presentation on minerals will allow students to explore unique properties of these solids (e.g. crystal, shape, hardness, cleavage, color, luminescence).
The workshop on light and sound will focus on introducing young people to the fascinating world of light, sound and waves. Refraction, angles of impact and critical angles will be demonstrated using the light of a laser that passes through different mediums.
