Governing Board

The Governing Board is a body that brings together students, parents of students, teachers and administrators. Its role is to offer guidance on teaching and learning in the school, at both the primary and secondary levels. It generally meets four times a year.

In short, the Governing Board adopts the school plan (which is the product of joint deliberation by the school council and the secondary teaching teams), the internal regulations, and the school year calendar. It also issues opinions on proposed structural changes and teaching innovations, plans for teaching actions, the activity program for associations and clubs, school life organization, food service in the school, and sanitation, health and safety issues.
The Governing Board consists of 8 ex officio members, 4 elected parents, 2 elected students, 5 elected teachers and 1 elected support staff member.
